37136 at Skegness (1985)

Sunday 23rd June 1985, and 37136 makes a change from the usual pair of Class 20's, having worked the 1E26 0833 Leicester to Skegness. It rests at platform 7 in Skegness before its return on the 1M88 1835 to Leicester.

Built by the English Electric it entered service as D6836 on 19th April 1963. It was withdrawn on 1st December 1998 (then numbered 37905). It has been preserved and currently resides at the Mid Hants Railway "Watercress Line".
