37046 at Skegness (1984)

37046 on platform 6 at Skegness on Friday 31st August 1984. It had worked in as the 1D17 0846 from Sheffield, to where it would return as 1J27 at 1755.

It stands alone as this through train operated Monday to Friday, the other services to Leicester and Derby/Burton on Trent operated on Mondays to Thursdays.

37046 entered service on 13th July 1962 as D6746. It was withdrawn on 30th September 2008, and scrapped by C.S. Booth of Rotherham on 1st September 2009.
